ISO14001 Certified
On 1st March 2004 Abaloid Plastics Limited achieved the Environmental Standard BS EN ISO 14001:1996. The following year we successfully completed the transition to the revised standard BS EN ISO 14001:2004. Whilst conforming to this standard confirms our commitment to a better environment, we will strive to continue making improvements to the way we work and how we affect the environment. We have invested in the latest software and hardware to sustain a competitive edge through increased accuracy and cost reduction.
Automotive Standard TS16949:2002
In support of our becoming a 1st tier supplier we are now working to an agressive plan to achieve accreditation to TS 16949:2002. Our target to achieve this is March 2009. Please check back here for updates.

Waste Eliminated!
Cost savings through waste elimination. Here at Abaloid we consider waste unacceptable. We continue to crack down on all forms of waste to ensure we offer our customers the best rates around.
Energy Efficiency Grant
Abaloid Plastics has been awarded a grant contributing towards the cost of installing an energy saving inverter on an air compressor. Under the European Regional Development Fund Objective 2 our project satisfied criteria for the Energy Efficiency and Clean Technology Grants Scheme.
Unfortunately all possible other energy saving inverters/power saving devices, i.e. on the cooling tower, coolant pump, granulators and roof fans, were implemented prior to grants being made available!
We are proud of our facility here at Abaloid. Continuing success has enabled continuing investment and we believe our facility is ideally suited to meet the modern requirements of today’s plastic moulding buyers. |
